Hunt Idaho, Guided Hunting Trips

Your biggest problem? So much resource-not enough time! Idaho is home to waterfowl, small game, upland game birds, turkey, and eleven species of huntable big game. 2/3 of Idaho is public land and most big game species can be hunted with a GUARANTEED TAG if you book with a licensed outfitter. Idaho offers archery, rifle and muzzleloader tags and there is some kind of hunting season open all year round! Most big game hunts are booked in advance so plan ahead. If you want to sum up Idaho hunting in one word, it would be “rugged”.

Idaho has the three deepest gorges in North America and whether you are hunting elk or chucker, physical fitness is required. Hunt elk on horseback in the Selway/Bitterroot Wilderness or backpack for Mountain Goats in the WhiteClouds. Run a jetboat up the Snake River for Rocky Mountain Bighorns or fly into the Frank Church for Mule Deer. Bugle up a bull in the St. Joe or stalk Pronghorn near City of Rocks. Float a raft for Shiras Moose along the Henry’s Fork or sit a tree stand for whitetails along the Moyie River. Bottom line, if you can dream it, there is an outfitted experience for you in Idaho.
